  1. Discover Revolver, which is very close to our luxury villa in Bali.

If life revolves around fantastic coffee in the morning, look no further – this place is where you want to be. Expect a vibrant atmosphere and a brew that packs a punch yet remains remarkably smooth on the palette, free of any lingering aftertaste. Be warned though, don’t indulge in this caffeine delight before your spa or afternoon siesta.

  1. Our Bali villa near Ku De Ta means tipsy walks home are not an effort.

Several minutes walk from the Kinaree estate, either by road or beach, lies Ku De Ta, Bali’s pioneering beach club. Still reigning supreme with its great music, chilled vibe, delicious food, and cool beachside ambience, KDT offers three distinct menus; poolside you can enjoy snacks, burgers, pizza, and Japanese-influenced nori rolls, while the dining room is a la carte. Upstairs we anticipate the arrival of a new high-end steak place.

  1. La Lucciola is perfect for long, lazy afternoons drinking rose and looking out to sea.

Step onto the beach, turn right, and walk about 10 minutes to find the beachfront gem, La Lucciola – a perennial favourite among Seminyak residents. True to its name, this longstanding Italian restaurant embodies timeless elegance. A must-try experience, especially on a hot day, is their strawberry & guava ice granita.

  1. Boy n Cow, as the name suggests, is grilled meat nirvana.

Welcome to an exceptional steakhouse. Downstairs, indulge in tantalizing Japanese and Australian Wagyu tomahawks in impressive sizes and unquestionably the finest cuts in Bali. Accompanied by classic sides and a decent wine list, every bite is a celebration of flavour. Some non-beef alternatives are on the menu should guests not partake. Upstairs is a cute cocktail bar, a relaxed place to observe the carnage below.

  1. Mamasan is now one of Seminyak’s iconic modern Asian restaurants.

The restaurant has undergone a comprehensive expansion and refurbishment encompassing the adjacent property. Upon entering, guests are now greeted at the newly added ground-floor bar, complementing the existing upstairs entertainment space. You must try their slow-cooked pork & pumpkin dumplings, a beef rendang curry, and a delightful coconut & mango pavlova for dessert.

  1. Try a curry at Kura-Kura at The Oberoi Hotel, which may be the best ever.

The Oberoi owners have always insisted on the finest Indian cuisine served here; indeed, you’d be hard-pressed to find better, and in such a stunning setting. Don’t expect any fancy names for popular dishes; their flavours are a delight for the senses. The restaurant is open-sided and looks out over gardens, pool, and the sea beyond.  A siesta post-lunch is recommended.

  1. Sister restaurant to La Lucciola, Bambu, is another modern Asian delight.

Bambu is a converted luxury villa where guests are greeted by water features upon arrival, creating an enchanting, serene atmosphere. Here is an authentic Indonesian restaurant featuring specialities from Bali, Java, Sumatra, and other islands across the Indonesian archipelago. It’s worth noting that popular dishes sell out early, as they prioritize sourcing fresh ingredients daily.

  1. Merah Putih is always a good idea.

Indulge in this upmarket Indonesian cuisine, artfully presented, in a visually stunning establishment practically made for Instagram. Dishes are thoughtfully paired with sublime cocktails and they have a serious wine selection too. The menu constantly evolves, so no trip to Seminyak is complete without a visit here.

  1. Biku is a cute little eatery famous for afternoon tea.

Biku excels in the art of tea time; their carrot cake is renowned. Alongside an array of daily cakes, sandwiches, and even traditional scones with cream, it offers a diverse selection of crafted teas.  If sweet goodness is not your thing, its international and local menus are also enticing. Be sure to sample their Nasi Campur or indulge in Biku’s delectable Shepherd’s pie.
